Day 1: Sign up and preparation

Wow well today I signed up for Zoe. I turn 49 soon and realised that my current nutrition plan and exercise needs a revamp.  Why did I choose Zoe? I chose Zoe because I liked the scientific approach and because I want to know how my body reacts to food. I get so much conflicting advice on a daily basis whether it be to eat less fruit, eat more fat, eat more protein all of which seems to involve me eating fewer plants. I actually love fruit and veg! I thought it I did Zoe I could work out which foods were good for me. Preparation Goal 1 is to eat 30 different plants a week, when I looked at my current diet I was already doing 30 plus but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a goal so I made a few lists so that I could get a shopping list together. Zoe recommends what they call diversity jars where you mix several things and then can grab a handful. I am going to do three. One will have small seeds, the next larger seeds and pine nuts and the last one will be a mixture of nuts. I got some ...
